2nd Maui Video

Here is our second video from our Maui trip. Hope you enjoy it!

Catch of th e Day!

The Kings are running in the Samish. Ryan went fishing early Thursday morning and came home around 8am with two Kings. The larger one was 20 lbs.

Ryan came into the kitchen for about five minutes with "waders and all" and then went back outside. I went into the kitchen after him and couldn't believe how he could have left behind such a strong fishy funk. Needless to say, he left waders and shoes outside and clothes were washed immediately! On the other hand, we're looking forward to some upcoming BBQ's!

I'm in the middle of what should be lesson planning : P, but I wanted to add a few more pictures. I didn't have time for another video this time. Plus this lets you soak in more of Maui's beauty should you wish to. The top 8 pictures are on the "Road to Hana" which is the eastern, very lush end of Maui.

The picture on the left is Ryan watching the moonset. Yes, I mean moon.

Still more of the moon setting, it was getting brighter because the sun was rising in the opposite direction. The bottom pictures are plumeria trees and plumerias for anyone not familiar with them. They smell wonderfu!!

More Maui pics to follow. We have so many to share and haven't been taking much since we've been back since now we're swamped with our own college classes and also work. I'm already looking forward to our next break! : D

Maui!!

Since no one guessed, I'll just have to tell you! : P We were on Maui for 2 wonderful weeks. This was my 3rd time to Maui and Ryan's 1st. We got back on Thursday morning.....really early. We're still trying to adjust to this time zone again. Ryan started the Navy reserves this weekend and I'm trying to get homework done for my grad classes.

Because I take so many pictures, I am going to put them into a video series. Here is part 1. I'm not sure how many parts that there will be yet. : P Pictures of course can't truly capture the beauty or all that we experienced, but I hope that it will give you a taste of Maui. Enjoy!

Any Guesses??

Any guesses as to where we are by the pictures below? We've been gone nearly two weeks. We'll be home in just a few days and I'll add tons more pictures!! I'll probably have to show them over a couple of weeks! Here's a select few so far...
