Pacific Science Center

A few days ago, Ryan and I went to the Pacific Science Center in Seattle. Neither of us had been in years, and even though it is mostly designed for youth and kids, we enjoyed ourselves. Our favorite exhibit was the butterfly pavilion. Ryan kept saying how we needed to have a yard like that someday. I agreed it would be nice.

Afterwards, we used one of our buy 1 get 1 free coupons from the Entertainment Book and went to a hole in the wall Nepalese restaurant.

We decided to stay local for our spring break this year and do some day trips. Tomorrow we're meeting with some friends for brunch at their place. We're making crepes, but it's easier for us to make them over there since they have two little ones. Afterwards, we plan to go to a local nursery and hear some gardening tips. Ciscoe Morris is going to be there. I've heard from my mom that he has a gardening show.

In the evening, we have a small group from our church that we'll be meeting with for the first time. Sunday will be scrambling to get last minute lesson planning done that I'm very behind in. Classes start on Monday!

I'd like to do the Science Center again... only this time I'd like to NOT forget my child in the butterfly pavillion. Would you believe six adults exited that place, went in different directions and all assumed LeighAnna was with the others? Thankfully she just tailed another family until we showed up. I remember running through one whole building pushing an empty stroller and screaming at Steve. not our best moment. Glad your experience could be much nicer. ;-)
