I was talking with a friend and looking out my front window this morning when I saw this beautiful owl. He looked to be at least a foot tall and about 8 inches wide. I was afraid that I'd scare him away when I went out onto the front deck to get some better pictures, but he wasn't fazed by me. In the last picture, you can see that he was looking right at me.
