On New Year's Day we went snowshoeing near Mount Baker. It was great except for my cramping hip joints as we plowed through fresh powder going uphill. From L to R: Elizabeth, Tommy (my younger brother), Heidi (our friend), and Ryan. And no I haven't gained that much holiday weight, I'm wearing 3 pairs of pants (fleece pants, sweats, and waterproof ones on top)!! : )
Just a note for those who aren't aware....you can click on the picture to enlarge them. I'd recommend it to get more of the beautiful mountain details.
